Love Is In The Air. (Spooky)

A friend of mine has fallen in love. The other day he told me about a strange coincidence: after the blissful fall he had repeatedly caught himself switching from the rather demanding music played by BBC Radio 3 to catchy pop played by nearly all other stations, with the exception of those that bore you to death with sport or politics.**

The first time he became aware of that phenomenon he noticed a very peculiar - if you take into account his situation - thing about the pop songs he was listening to: one by one, they all turned out to be about a guy developing a serious case of maddness triggered, if we were to take the lyricist's word for it, by a woman; or a girl developing an infatuation with a man.
Then, just as he was to switch the radio off because it was getting a bit too eery, there came a wild physico-mentalo-methaphysical assertion that took his breath away, as he was allegedly in the process of formulating in his head a conclusion to the same effect: "Love Is In The Air".

Spooky.

*could be a pure coincidence; however, I have a theory that there may have been a connection between his propensity for pop and the newly-entered mode of his existence.
** not that talking abot politics must be boring; it just usually is.
