Let's cooperate
The young female sped up and cycled past me with a whiff of her .... whatever. I barely managed to catch her profile.
(Earlier someone talked about drawing life out of the young ones; not vampire-style though, he added).
"Hey, you!", my surpressed shout didn't go after her, "Stop!"
"Girl!", I started waxing lyrical, relieved - my image! - that there was no guitar in sight, "You've got that thrilling core of life I so badly need [verse 1]"
"But [intro to chorus; quite high] I have something that you may find exciting one day too:
the wisdom to be later what you are now -
[chorus; going even higher and finishing abruptly on A-minor]
The wisdom to be young (when you're old).
Oh, yeah! baby..."
[guitar solo; a good one]
So, for youth's sake, let's cooperate!*"
*not sure what to do with this line; it's going to be either the first one of Verse 2 or repeated throughout the song by backup vocals.
