Strolling against the backdrop of the Law

(I guess that)

before the day when thunder, lightning and a thick cloud covered Mount Sinai, and a loud trumpet blast was heard, and everyone in camp trembled with fear - before all this, Moses went up the mountain one evening, without anyone noticing.

There, the Lord - who'd been waiting - put his arm around him: a promise that one day the perfect Law will come to hug us - and pointed to the sunset (by chance, there happened to be a magnificent one that evening).

And then the Lord asked Moses whether his people prefered to work out all that should be joyously done in this world from that sky alone - or whether they wanted 613 commandments.
