The remedy? Less of the patient...

Democracy isn't ill. It is the illness.

(This is me, by the way, not Aristotle; but if he likes the way I put it, he can go ahead and borrow it.)

In other words: If democracy were a patient, the remedy would be to have less of the patient.

PS No grumbling, please; I keep going on about democracy, because democracy goes on ruining me*, my kids and someone pretty that I fancy.)

*not that I haven't done my best to cooperate with it; the thing is I don't claim my reckless ways are the best that humankind has come up so far in the realm of public governance...
