We're our problem

To put it another way: in the current political and economic mess voters are (a big) part of the problem, not of the solution . We are our problem.


PS Prompted by last Any Qestions on BBC Radio 4 where someone plugged democracy (in "the need for more democracy" form, or some such nonsense), whereas - as I'm sure everybody knows by now - the West needs more respect for private property, better understanding of basic economic principles and, basically, more basic principles, but less democracy*.
