I promised to write something about Country music.
One of the things about it that I appreciate most, besides the fact that it's an important part of my tradition, is that it has no issue with being warm. Which is cool.
PS Even when it gets embarassingly corny (an apt word for what is, at its roots, farmers' music)**, which is quite often, I stand by it, because there is generally something right about it. I guess this is because the music's, and the people's, background is fundamentally warm, good and true, which could have something to do with a belt, and a Book.
