A leftist - in the worst, incoherent sense of the adjective - Polish rag praises an Austrian parish that has just decided to get rid of their orthodox priest in exchange for a couple of practicing gays - and in effect leave the Catholic Church.

The paper is naturally full of praise for the sheep that are proudly marching out of the pen and getting ready (if it hasn't happened yet) to be embraced by a new, sly shepherd.

The story is bad enough even without the involvement of any princes of the Church, but the chief local one, did step in and turned a sad story into a tragic one.

How grateful then we should be in this depressing context for the no-nonsense German shepherd that looks over the flock now! Surely he will soon bark, and then - if necessary - bite; and bite hard, we pray.

And as for those who try to undermine the Teaching and the Tradition, along with the basic Moral Instinct - well, maybe I won't be as sophisticated or eloquent as my prominent predecessors who fought earlier lethal heresies and fallacies, but let me tell you: I have the same fervour, so I throw up my hands, or one hand, or just one part of it, and censure all gay or gay-inspired corruptors - and I mean it
