A Hint of the Lawgiver
I've got a hunch that our natural tendency to adhere to the Law of Non-contradiction is a hint about the source of ourselves and the Universe: one non-contradictory Law- and Principle-giver.
(See: "A house divided against itself cannot stand." The same, I guess, must be true about a person).
picture: not exactly, but close. What if there's an identity relation between the top and the bottom? And where do you get Truth from? Surely, you cannot rely on yourself only. And I, for one, tend to trust persons more than minds. Thus, I trust more the persons of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John than the minds of Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and Aquinas (not to mention the minds of lesser philosophers, such as Kant; not to mention the brains of those philosophers that claim that mind, basically, doesn't exist at all).
