Dissing Kant (PS)

(This is a PS to the earlier Kant post).

I realised that  funny (or to be precise: trying to be funny) may be part of the Lord's Creation and Plan, but  they have their own place, and that the place is not necessarily, at least at this stage, right next to profound thoughts about Him - and decided to put all this additional info at some distance from the core thought.

The paradox, and scandal at the same time, of Kant's attitude struck me during the philosophical workshop run by prof. Krzystof Michalski at the University of Warsaw, which was quite eventful and exciting, by the way ("Zrobimy teraz przerwę a Panowie wyjaśnią to sobie jakoś między sobą. Najlepiej bez rękoczynów."

"A dlaczego tak?").

Isn't it also ironic that Kant suggested his outrageaous and costly (for the mainstream of European Civilisation) fallacy regarding the way we think about Judeo-Christian God, while he kept, in one way or another, cozying up to Christianity?

I'm going to write more about the basic mistake Kant made regarding the reasonability of the talk of the possible existence of God and whether it makes philosophical sense – soon J

By the way, Kant jest geniuszem. Nazwałem go kiedyś mniejszym filozofem, ale mam nadzieję, że zorientowaliście się, że było to z przymrużeniem oka,  w ramach złośliwego odgrywania się na nim za kilka skandalicznych metafizycznych błędów (głównie związanych z kwestią zaznaczoną w tekście głównym tego wpisu). Przecież tylko jakiś kompletny oszołom mógłby tak określić Kanta.

PS I've kept the original linguistic inconsistency of the post, which I noticed the first time round, when I spojrzałem w górę i zobaczyłem co się dzieje, kiedy próbuje się powiedzieć coś rozsądnego przed espresso: your tongue is incoherent.
